Does “Atma” or “Soul” have feelings or emotions?

We usually say when one dies, his or her atma / soul has to be satisfied. We try to do things as per last wish of the dying person. I have read (by Swami Vivekananda) that Soul or Atma is immortal. And also Atma or Soul is not attached to the body. Body only perishes not Atma or Soul.
